December 9, 2023

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Jim Trimboli, Linda Tingley, Don Forgette, Bob Kenlay, Bob Leiner, Bill Balch and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $989.70.

Alan Marcus contacted the Oak Run DOD to open the kitchen doors by 8:00AM for the Holiday party.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $1009.70.

Jim Trimboli said that Carrie Miller of Electric Bikes will contribute some gifts at the Holiday Party.

Linda Tingley will purchase 7 dozen donuts and 2 pounds of coffee.

Alan Marcus will contact the Oak Run DOD to open the kitchen door & closet by 8:00AM.

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Mike Metelits, Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Don Forgette, Bob Leiner, Bill Balch, Linda Tingley and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $969.70.

Jim Trimboli introduced Carrie Miller from Ocala Bicycle Center. Carrie gave a brief summary of her presentation for the December “Electric Bikes” presentation for our membership meeting.

Alan Marcus summarized the Questions & Answers program for the October membership meeting. Alan asked for three judges to evaluate the membership responses. Mike Metelits, Bill Balch, and Bob Kenlay volunteered.

September 8, 2023

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Mike Metelits, Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Don Forgette, Bob Leiner, and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $1118.85. Jim Trimboli also filed the annual certification with the Florida Department of Agriculture.

Alan Marcus suggested that we divide up the membership into tables of four for the Questions & Answers session. We then select a table to see if they can answer the question. If the question is answered correctly, each member receives 5¢. The board agreed with suggested game.

It was suggested that we re-evaluate the fifty-fifty program and the 10-$10 gift cards at our January 2024 executive board meeting.

Bob Leiner suggested that we buy a new scanner for under $100. Motion was seconded by Jim Trimboli. The Board agreed.

Bob Kenlay noted that our March motion would continue the 10 - $10 Gift Cards until the end of the year. We also agreed to continue to distribute all the 50/50 proceeds.

The position to discontinue the summer meetings was rerevsed. We will have summer meetings. It was also agreed to continue membership fees.

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Linda Tingley, Don Forgette, Mike Metelits, Bill Balch and Alan Marcus.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $1448.85.

Jim Trimboli made a motion to run a fund raiser for members once per quarter. Mike Metelits seconded the motion, the motion failed.

Bob Kenlay made a motion to have ten $10 Gift Cards at the next meeting. Linda Tingley seconded the motion, the motion passed.

Past membership: 2019 - 132 members; 2022 - 100 members; 2023 - 45 members.

Bill Balch made a motion that we will suspend the summer membership meetings (June, July, August) and restart the meetings in September. Linda Tingley seconded the motion, the motion passed.

Alan Marcus asked about a concern of the future of the computer club. After a lengthy discussion, it was agreed to continued to review the attendance until June.

Past membership: 2019 - 132 members; 2022 - 100 members; 2023 - 42 members.

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Bob Leiner, Don Forgette, Linda Tingley, Bill Balch, and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $1440.85.

Alan Marcus reported that the club fair will be held on Feb 1, 2023 at the Palm Grove. Bill Balch will man the CTC booth and has requested that anyone interested can assist.

Alan Marcus asked about the future of the computer club because of low attendance at our past meetings. Alan Marcus read a letter sent by Ron Kenyon as possible ways to interest new members. Possible subjects would be drones, e-bikes or smart homes. It was agreed to review the question in six months.

Past membership: 2019 - 132 members; 2022 - 100 members; 2023 - 33 members.

Bill Balch suggested that we check with some other communities and determine how their clubs are doing.
