End Of An Era

Sadly, the Computer Technology Club, Inc. officially dissolved on April 16, 2024.

Although the club no longer exists, many of the members continue to serve the Oak Run community by offering help with various aspects of today's technology.

Thanks to everyone who was a part of this great club over the past 30+ years.

Feb. 9, 2024

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Bob Leiner, Don Forgette, Mike Metelits, Linda Tingley, Bill Balch, and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $796.70.

Alan Marcus made the announcement that he will be resigning from the CTC and we will be asking at the next membership meeting if anyone is interested in becoming President. If no one agrees to fill the position, the CTC will consider ending the club.

Alan Marcus made a motion to check into giving the club assets to a non-profit if the club is ended. The motion was seconded by Jim Trimboli. The motion was passed.

Mike Metelits made a motion to stop the corporation by April 16, 2024, if the club is to be ended The motion was seconded by Jim Trimboli. The motion was passed.

Mike Metelits made a motion to stop 50/50 money and the gift cards at the monthly meetings. The motion was seconded by Bob Kenlay. The motion was passed.

Jan. 12, 2024

Alan Marcus, President, called the meeting to order at 9:00AM. Members in attendance: Jim Trimboli, Bob Kenlay, Bob Leiner, Don Forgette, Linda Tingley, Bill Balch, and Alan Marcus.

The Secretary’s report was read by Bob Kenlay. No corrections or additions necessary.

Jim Trimboli then read the current Treasurer's report. The current balance is $866.70.

Bob Leiner made a motion to go back to keeping half of the 50/50 money and given 5- $10 gift cards at the monthly meetings. The motion was seconded by Jim Trimboli. The motion was passed.

The summary of the holiday party. There were 33 members attending the party. The 7 dozen donuts were sufficient.

Bob Kenlay made a motion that we hold our executive board meeting in March at the regular membership meeting to see if we can get the membership more involved at the CTC direction. The motion was seconded by Bill Balch. The motion was passed.
